How to use it

  1. 1Pick a level: Easy is two or three operations, Medium adds parentheses, Hard brings in exponents and nesting.
  2. 2Every expression comes from a template, so nothing on the sheet is a run of random operators.
  3. 3Each division step is built to come out whole, and the answer key is computed by evaluating the printed expression.
  4. 4Give students a work space — these are problems worth showing steps for.
  5. 5Press Regenerate for a fresh set, then switch to the answer key.
